Wayne Keoghan zwaait al jaar en dag de plak bij Anvers. De sympathieke Thunder from Down Under kan sinds kort rekenen op versterking uit eigen stal: zoon Matt verricht wijnwonderen aan de rechterhand van de vader. Wind River is Matts meesterproef. Deze karaktervolle shiraz uit de Adelaide Hills brengt rijp fruit en kruidige elegantie prachtig samen. Deze soepele spierbundel verleidt met donkere kersen, blauwe bessen en zwarte peper, terwijl subtiele houtachtige tonen voor extra diepte zorgen. Sappig en medium-bodied, met frisse zuren en fijne tannines die de wijn spanning en structuur geven. Een veelzijdige verleider die zowel bij een stevige barbecue als bij een kruidige stoofschotel uitstekend tot zijn recht
