Deze gelimiteerde godendrank is het paradepaardje van Misty Cove, een van d\u00e9 absolute topproducenten in het gamma van Artevino. Expressieve elegantie is de handtekening van het huis, en die ontbreekt niet in deze sublieme chardonnay die de naam 1203 meekreeg. Dat getal verwijst naar Mount Stokes, het hoogste punt in de Marlborough Sounds. Symbolisch, want in deze reeks mikt Misty Cove op de absolute top. Het resultaat is een absolute topwijn, die heel wat ronkende referenties uit Frankrijk naar de kroon steekt. In de neus een complex samenspel tussen fris en zoet, met onder meer citrus en limoenzeste enerzijds en honingmeloen en abrikoos anderzijds. De lange houtopvoeding resulteert in vanille en geroosterde cashew. De smaaksensatie is even gelaagd als geslaagd, met een heerlijke harmonie tussen frisse finesse en romige rondeur. Een rijke en rijpe smaakervaring met peer, brioche en een vleug vanille krijgt een fantastische finale vol zalige zuurtjes en een mooie minerale
