In deze monocepage mourvedre krijgt de druif het podium voor zich alleen. De druiven komen van de fantastische Fore Familywijngaard. Dit legendarische lapje grond ligt op meer dan 1000 meter hoogte, waardoor de hitte uit de vallei flink getemperd wordt. De verfrissende bries uit de Stille Oceaan zorgt voor extra verkoeling. Warme dagen en koude nachten wisselen elkaar af, waardoor de druiven sappige smaakbommen zijn. Franus mag dus met de gedroomde grondstoffen aan de slag, en de hand van de meester zorgt voor een fenomenale finishing touch. Het resultaat is een wonderlijke wijn, die zowel zwoel als zinderend is. Een even apart als aangenaam aroma combineert florale toetsen met pittige peper, anijs en lavendel. Framboos en kaneel zorgen voor een zalig zoete zweem. Op het palet een stevige start, met veel rijpe kers in een zijdezachte verpakking.
