Het blazoen van Barbaresco en Barolo werd na de Tweede Wereldoorlog flink besmeurd door een generatie die duffe en fruitloze wijnen produceerde. Deze Barbaresco bewijst dat respect voor traditie een huwbare partner blijkt voor moderne technieken. In het glas verschijnt een granaatrode wijn, met een intens en bijzonder fris bouquet. Maar bij het proeven reveleert deze topper zich pas echt in volle glorie: de wijn is kurkdroog en mondvullend en zorgt voor de perfecte harmonie tussen het mooi gedoseerde fruit en de prominente maar zachte tannines.
